STEM Club

STEM Club.

Discussing scientific breakthroughs and discoveries from around the world and through history, the STEM Club convenes to discuss and critique research papers in a range of scientific disciplines e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, astronomy, space, technology and neuroscience. Students have the opportunity to learn amongst fellow intellectually curious students in a welcoming environment.

Our team is comprised of top science graduates across numerous fields, engaging in cutting-edge research aimed at advancing discovery and finding solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. Doctors, engineers, psychologists, chemists, astrophysicists, biologists, computer scientists…our young minds will have the opportunity to learn from pioneering mentors.

Why Join?

We are in a new and exciting era of science and innovation. Scientific progress and cutting-edge technologies are rapidly accelerating our understanding of the natural and built worlds. Our supportive learning environment will champion exploration and provide hands-on research experience in science, to encourage our students to aspire to scientific study.

Junior Club.

Many schools only offer science at a very basic level until GCSE, but the students who succeed in later academic life, especially those who may wish to eventually pursue a scientific discipline at university, have nurtured scientific curiosity independently from a far younger age. The sessions will focus on inspiring students by giving them exposure to scientific breakthroughs of our time and encouraging them to adopt a scientist’s mode of logical and critical thinking.

Senior Club.

Many students are not aware of the sheer number of scientific degrees available, from traditional Chemistry and Physics to Earth Sciences, Material Science, Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. The Journal Club will encourage our older scientists to draw insights from across these numerous scientific disciplines, developing new skills and perspectives to prepare for university entry and think of solutions to society’s current challenges.
