Looking for a debate course for teens that builds confidence, critical thinking, and real-world communication skills?

Our Advocacy, Debate & Argument Building Summer Course is designed to help students become persuasive speakers, sharp thinkers, and articulate communicators — whether they’re preparing for Oxbridge interviews, competitive school entry, or simply aiming to speak with greater clarity and impact.

What Will Students Learn?

Over five days, students will:

  • Master the art of public speaking and structured argument

  • Build skills in rebuttal, rapid response, and on-the-spot thinking

  • Explore pressing topics like climate change, ethics, and technology

  • Gain confidence for Sixth Form/ University interviews, essay competitions, and debate clubs

  • Receive personalised feedback and a final performance review

Each session includes practical activities, group debates, individual speeches, and expert coaching — led by a seasoned debating champion and Oxbridge graduate.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Students applying to Oxford, Cambridge, or Russell Group universities

  • Teenagers looking to join their school’s debating or Model UN teams

  • Anyone who wants to speak with confidence in front of others

  • Aspiring lawyers, leaders, or anyone interested in logic and persuasive thinking

No previous debating experience is required — just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Meet the Tutor

Catherine, your course leader, holds a Master’s from the University of Oxford (Distinction) and has over a decade of experience in national and international debating. She has coached students across top London schools and regularly trains students for Oxbridge-style interviews and public competitions.

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 AM (UK time), daily
Location: Live Online
Age Group: 14–17
