Build confidence, critical thinking and persuasive communication through expert-led online debate classes hosted by experienced Oxbridge-educated Debate Team coaches.
Students learn to structure compelling arguments, respond confidently to opposing views, think on their feet and communicate their ideas with clarity. These skills support stronger performance in essays, interviews, presentations and academic discussion, as well as greater confidence beyond the classroom.
Choose between our Junior Debate Club for students aged 14 and under and our Senior Debate Club for students aged 15+.
Ages: 14 and under
Time: Sundays, 9:30–10:30 am UK time
First session: 8th November 2026
8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th November
Five live online sessions: £240 (£48 per session)
Ages: 15+
Time: Sundays, 10:45–11:45 am UK time
First session: 8th November 2026

Format: Live online in separate Junior and Senior groups
Weekly topics: Debate motions are shared each week and tailored to the ages, interests and academic aspirations of each group
Skills developed: Public speaking, logical argument, critical thinking, active listening, rebuttal and persuasive communication
Teaching style: Practical and participation-led, with students encouraged to speak, challenge ideas and respond to different perspectives
