From controversial legal cases and moral dilemmas to human rights, technology and global events, students debate complex issues, challenge assumptions and learn to construct persuasive, evidence-based arguments.
Choose between our Junior Club for students aged 14 and under and our Senior Club for students aged 15+.
Eight live online sessions: £384 (£48 per session)
Ages: 14 and under
Time: Tuesdays, 5:30–6:30 pm UK time
The Junior Club introduces younger students to fascinating cases, ideas and debates in an accessible and engaging way. Through discussion and thought-provoking dilemmas, students learn to consider different perspectives and build confidence expressing and defending their ideas.
Ages: 15+
Time: Tuesdays, 6:45–7:45 pm UK time
The Senior Club explores complex legal, political, philosophical and ethical questions in greater depth. It is particularly relevant to students interested in Law, PPE, Politics, Philosophy, History and related university courses.
Both groups follow the same term dates:
13th and 20th October
Half-term break: 27th October
3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th November
1st and 8th December
Format: Live online in separate Junior and Senior groups
Weekly topics: Session themes are shared in advance and respond to important current affairs and emerging issues
Tailored discussions: Topics and activities are adapted to the ages, interests and academic aspirations of each group
Interactive sessions: Students debate, question assumptions, consider competing perspectives and develop their own arguments
