Explore the biggest questions shaping society through law, ethics and current affairs. From controversial legal cases and moral dilemmas to politics, rights, technology and global events, students debate complex issues, challenge assumptions and learn to construct persuasive, evidence-based arguments. Ideal for intellectually curious students, including prospective Law, PPE, Politics and Humanities applicants.
Our Junior Club introduces younger learners to these ideas in an accessible and engaging way, opening their minds to different disciplines and perspectives while encouraging them to think more deeply about the world around them. Through discussion, debate and thought-provoking dilemmas, students develop more sophisticated ways of thinking, learn to consider multiple viewpoints and build confidence expressing and defending their own ideas.

Flexible attendance: Students are welcome to attend any or all of the eight sessions, so there is no requirement to commit to the full term.
Weekly topics: The theme for each session will be shared in advance each week, allowing discussions to respond to current affairs and emerging issues.
Tailored discussions: Topics and activities will also be adapted to the interests, ages and academic aspirations of the students in each group, ensuring discussions are appropriately challenging and engaging.
Interactive sessions: Clubs are discussion-led rather than lecture-based, with students encouraged to debate, question assumptions, consider different perspectives and develop their own arguments.
Junior & Senior groups: Separate age groups allow us to explore similar big questions at an appropriate level of complexity, with the Senior Club particularly relevant to students considering Law, PPE, Politics, Philosophy and related university courses.
