In this masterclass you will familiarise yourself with the techniques journalists use to make their writing captivating for their audience and think about how you can express yourself. Should your newspaper article be humorous? Serious? Scientific? How should you use headings and subheadings?
Suitability: For any young minds with an interest in writing and journalism! Additionally, students from 11+ to GCSE level will be asked to write in different forms in school entrance tests and written examinations. This includes letters!
Duration: This masterclass can be taken as a 1-1.5hr single session or multiple sessions if the student should like added support.
